What’s New?

October 27 to November 10

Hello reader, welcome back. We took a bit of a break after launching RABBLE REVIEW No.9. But we’re back and we’re hitting the ground running. Guess what? Submissions for our 10th issue are open as of Monday, October 27th. Guess what else? We’re having our livestream event on November 9th. Guess what else??? We added a new editor to our team. Also we checked our Facebook account for the first time in like…three years or something. Anyways!

Submissions for RABBLE REVIEW No.10 are now OPEN!

The submission form is available once again, we are excited to start reading your submissions. The deadline is on November 23rd, so you have a little less than a month to get your work in, so don’t wait until the last minute. We were willing to extend the deadline to a few potential contributors for Issue No.9 but that really disrupted our work flow because things were out of place, so just get it in by the 23rd.

Submissions for prose and poetry must be sent in via our submission form. If you have any problems with the submission form then please send us an email asap. If you let us know about your tech issues after November 23rd, we won’t be able to do much to help.

We won’t really start looking at submissions until January since December will be a pretty busy month for the entire staff. So if you do submit work to us then you should expect to hear back from us sometime in February. Or sooner. But probably February.

One last reminder, while we are a political literary journal, we encourage you to expand your imagination when it comes to the target of your commentary. By all means, be hyper specific with your work, but what you are saying on a broader level should speak to something a little more universal…or interesting. If that sounded vague, don’t worry, I’m sure whatever you are working on will struck the right balance. If you’re still confused just read our past issues, I think our past contributors have excelled at meeting the moment in their art.

Don’t forget about RABBLE REVIEW No.9!

Just in case you missed it, our newest issue of RABBLE REVIEW launched on October 10th! We’re very proud of the issue and the work contained within. Read it, then reread it!

Meet our newest editor, Valerie Vargas!

We’re excited to announce that we are adding another editor to our team. We’ll have more to share about her soon, but Valerie Vargas will be joining our team as a new editor to help work on RABBLE REVIEW No.9. If you want to learn more about her you can visit her website: https://valerievv.persona.co/

RABBLE REVIEW LIVE returns on November 9th!

We’re delighted to announce that we will be having our 3rd ever livestream to celebrate the launch of RABBLE REVIEW No.9 on November 9th. The livestream will be streamed on both our Twitch and YouTube channels. No invite is required, just tune in on either channel on November 9th to watch us live.

Work of the Week: October 23rd to October 30th

Amalgamation by Ali Ashhar

This weeks Featured Work of the Week comes from our most recent issue, RABBLE REVIEW No.9. Ali Ashhar who was featured in a previous issue returns with an excellent poem.

Fun fact, we accepted and published two poems titled “Amalgamation,” for our ninth issue. Strange how these things happen sometimes.

Read the poem on page 114 in the new issue or on our site until the 30th.
