What’s New?

October 7 to October 20

Hello reader, we hope you had a wonderful past few days. Here at RABBLE REVIEW we are putting the finishing touches on the ninth issue of RABBLE REVIEW. If all goes as planned the new issue will be out on October 10th! With that said, it is close to the wire for us, and if the timing doesn’t work out we may push the release back a few days. But rest assured it’s almost ready for you to read and we can’t wait to share it with you.

With that said, we have been busy these past few days. We have been meeting with potential editors who showed interest in joining our editorial team (we will hopefully have more to share about that soon), and we also found time to nominate a few works for the 2026 Best of the Net Anthology. This is the first time RABBLE REVIEW has nominated works we have published, and we are proud at our selection. You can see (and read) the selected works below. Congratulations to the nominees!

Work of the Week:

October 2nd to October 9th

Sick by Anthony Nelson

This weeks featured work is, “Sick,” by Anthony Nelson. It’s featured in our 4th issue and can be found on page 101. “Sick,” is a short story dealing with subject matter that is sadly still relevant today. It’s a great piece and we were delighted to feature it. Be sure to read it at the link below until October 9th. After that you can find it in Issue No.4

Work of the Week:

September 26 to October 1

“7/17” by Tiara Primus

Last weeks featured work of the week was “7/17,” by Tiara Primus. It is a short piece reflecting the rage felt at the continued injustice surrounding police violence targeting (primarily) Black people in the United States. We published it in our third issue on page 48, be sure to check it out at the link below:

There are new ways to support RABBLE REVIEW. You can pay what you want when downloading any issue of RABBLE REVIEW. You can also give a one time donation via our Buy Me a Coffee page, or donate on a monthly basis. You are also welcome to support us by reading and sharing RABBLE REVIEW to your friends, family, pets, enemies, etc!

That’s all for now reader. Once the new issue of RABBLE REVIEW is out we will send out another newsletter with links on how to read and/or download the new issue. Also, for those of you who want to submit work, you will get a bit of a head start. Our submission box will open that night. But I’m not going to advertise that the box is open for another week or so. Does this give you an advantage? Not really, but if you have your submissions ready you will be able to get it ready and sent out soon! We can’t wait to get this issue out to you, and we can’t wait to see what you have in store for our 10th issue. Just…please no submissions about Charlie Kirk, or the gross bruise on Trumps hand.

Stay safe, get your flu shot and COVID booster, and we will (hopefully) see you on Friday for a new issue of RABBLE REVIEW!

Have a good week, stay safe out there,
