What’s New?

July 29 to August 4th

Hello reader, we hope you had a good week. Last week, we began offering our first few issues available to read in your web browser. As of today, all eight issues of RABBLE REVIEW can be read without direct download. You can go to our website, find the issue you want, press “read now”, and read any issue. Tell us which one is your favorite!

With the launch of Issue 9, we will begin to implement changes with how we handle direct downloads for back issues. We will have more to share soon on that.

Speaking of Issue No.9, the work continues! The team met this week to continue plotting the course for the new issue. Right now we’re finalizing layout (still), and deciding on the cover art for the issue. It’s hard to choose because we don’t want to alter the image too much. So the aspect ratio needs to be right, and it needs to be able to integrate our cover elements cleanly, like the title, issue number, and more. We received so many fantastic art pieces that you’ll get to see in the upcoming issue, but finding the right cover image is a bigger challenge. The work continues, and we hope to finish up that work soon!

Also our entire first issue is attached below. Juuuust in case you’ve never read it. The fourth anniversary of its release is coming up soon, by the way!

Work of the Week:

Always Crashing in the Same Car,” by allison anne

This week we’re highlighting an art piece featured in our inaugural issue. Always Crashing in the Same Car, is a fantastic collage, and one of the few art pieces we accepted from allison anne.

You can look at the piece, along with her other submission, in RABBLE REVIEW No.1.
